Daniel Radcliffe Calls Being Fugitive in 'Deathly Hallows' Brilliant

Daniel Radcliffe is apparently impressed with the fugitive status Harry Potter and his two best friends have in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". In an interview with Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex, he gushed, "Everybody is after us. We're to the point in the story where it's a lot of action and we're on the run. And that's brilliant."

The 21-year-old actor further spoke out about what he thought on the shooting outside the wall of Hogwarts. "I think getting out was a marvelous thing for the story and for the look of the film," he said. "This movie just looks different than the other ones. We've spent so much time at Hogwarts that it makes it fresh to go somewhere new on screen."

Adding more on the Hogwarts absence was producer producer David Heyman. "It gives this film a very different feel to be away from Hogwarts," he said. "The main characters - Harry, Ron and Hermione - are on the run and, yes, they do go to some magical places, like the Ministry of Magic, but a lot of the film is set in a quite naturalistic setting, and that makes it feel very real and very human."

"There's plenty of magic, of course, but it's set against a very real context," the filmmaker continued. "We have them a bit in Whitehall, in central London, we have them on Shaftesbury Avenue in the cafes. It feels real, gritty at times and beautiful at other times. But it is not at Hogwarts, and that gives us a fresh impetus."

While Daniel and David addressed the road-trip adventure, cast member Emma Watson shared difficulties on having to kiss the lead actor and co-star Rupert Grint. To SFX magazine, she poured out, "Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough. Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship."

"Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty bloody hard, it really was. That required a huge amount of professionalism," the 20-year-old beauty continued to explain. "I really had to grit my teeth and be like, 'I am Hermione, this is Harry - stop thinking that it's Emma kissing Dan. It's not. It's all good.' "

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" has been separated into two parts for its big screen installment. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" is due to hit U.S. theaters on November 19, 2010, and will be followed by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II", which is set for July 15, 2011 release.
